Dead Horse Gap Run 2018

What a fantastic day for the official end of our 2018 season! Our athletes, coaches and parents assembled at the bell before making their way through the wilderness down to dead horse gap.

While the snow cover was ample, the quality wasn’t quite the dry pow we had last season. Not that anyone cared! All our athletes had a ball skiing the back country and it was a new experience for a few of the adults too.

Thanks to the Thredbo Ski Patrol for hearding us all safely through the trees and thanks to our treasurer Elizabeth for arranging our excellent BBQ feast at the Dead Horse Gap carpark. Our Transport sponsor, Deane Transport Services was there as usual to lend a hand with a coach to transport us all back to Thredbo at the end of the day.
